Our Community

Established in the mid-1800s as a ranch, the city of West Covina incorporated in 1923. The city became producer of walnuts and orange groves until population influxes from Los Angeles and the surrounding areas brought major revitalization and community services with it. As a suburb of Los Angeles, West Covina enjoys beautiful California sunshine most of the year, the convenience and resources of a major metropolitan district, and the hometown flavor of the southwest.

We invite you to get to know our community better by visiting the links on this page. You’ll find information about fun local attractions and helpful community resources to make your experience with West Covina one you’ll never forget.
